Pro League Qualification Requirements

The Gamenex Pro League (GXPL) is the bridge between community tournaments and professional play in Age of Empires II. Based on this we are constantly evaluating qualification requirements.

How do I qualify?

Qualification is rather simple and can be achieved through multiple ways:

1. The Official Ladder: Be within the top 200 players in the official Age of Empires II 1vs1 RM Ladder
2. S-Tier ATP Rankings: Be listed within the S-Tier ATP rankings
3. Qualifier Tournaments/Leagues: Get a spot through one of the partnered community tournaments
4. Direct Invite: If the GXPL team believes you would be a good choice, you'll be directly contacted

Players can contact our league operations team on our Discord (#create-ticket) to be invited for the next season of Pro League. They may also be contacted by our league operations team. If a player is not able to participate, the spot will be given to the next eligible player in the list.

Trial Phase

The trial phase will start once a new player joins the Pro League. Within 4 weeks, they will have to proof that they are able to compete with and actively participate in the Pro League. A player may be removed from the Pro League during that trial phase relatively fast, following the disqualification guidelines outlined below.

Disqualification

A player can be disqualified from Pro League for the following reasons:

• An account ban due to repeated rule breaches as per our Penalty Point system. This primarily includes toxic or unfair behaviour.
• Having at least 5 matches played within the last 2 seasons of Pro League (Inactivity)
• Is not able to keep up with the lowest level of competition over a longer period of time

The league operations team reserves the right to remove players from the Pro League in cases of major disruption.
